About Shanti

Shanti played and programmed his first games on a Commodore PET 4000. Instead of following this pure and noble early hacking instinct, he foolishly went to college. It all worked out however and Shanti has been geeking out in Web and game software for close to the last 20 years. He now does business development for Playfish, a social game developer and division of Electronic Arts. Prior to joining Playfish Shanti ran business development for Three Rings, an early pioneer in free to play games-as-a-service. Some people regard him as a domain expert on virtual goods and game monetization. Those people are probably wrong but his mother is very proud all the same. For some reason, Shanti also speaks fluent Japanese.
